Bhubaneswar, November 12, 2024 – In a significant event for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), SMBConnect successfully hosted The Rise 2.0 conference in Bhubaneswar on November 12, 2024. The conference, themed "Growth & Beyond," was held in collaboration with the Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry Limited (UCCIL) and attracted over 100 business owners from the region. This half-day event ran from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and featured insightful discussions on topics vital to the growth and sustainability of SMBs.

The conference kicked off with a Welcome Note and Event Overview by Sandipan Ray, Founder and Director of SMBConnect. The agenda included a series of engaging sessions, with experts addressing critical themes such as the role of business associations in fostering SME growth, government support for sustainable development, and innovative approaches to marketing and office efficiency.

Key speakers included Dr Prabodh Mohanty, President of UCCIL, who spoke about the importance of business associations in driving growth and collaboration among SMEs, and Shri Bibhuti Bhushana Dash, Special Secretary from the Department of MSME (Government of Odisha), who discussed government initiatives to empower MSMEs. Other sessions focused on practical strategies, such as Ranjan Prakash Tripathy from Epson India, who shared insights on eco-friendly office printing solutions, and Dr. Kamalesh Mishra, President of the Sea Food Association, who emphasized the importance of marketing in business growth.

The conference closed with an inspiring talk by Damodar Hota, a renowned Life Coach and Motivational Speaker, on achieving growth beyond limits and elevating SMBs to new heights.

The event concluded with a heartfelt thank-you note from Sanjeev Mahapatra, Honourable Secretary of UCCIL, followed by a networking lunch, allowing attendees to connect and build valuable business relationships.
