Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon announced the expansion of the Snapdragon X series portfolio introducing the Snapdragon X Plus 8-Core. The announcement came just before the IFA Berlin 2024. Now Qualcomm is the breakthrough technology of the Computer and Gaming arena at the world’s largest electronics and customer show as Copilot+ PCs took center stage with Microsoft’s partners, including Qualcomm.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus 8-Core Unleashes features like multiday battery life, unprecedented speed and AI-powered copilot+ experiences to the mainstream adaptation.
“The first and best Copilot+ PCs are powered by Snapdragon X Series platforms, launching a new generation in personal computing, made possible by our groundbreaking NPU,” said Cristiano Amon President and Chief Executive Officer, Qualcomm Incorporated.
The new Snapdragon platform has an integrated GPU which supports up to three external monitors capable of performing 45 trillion operations per second NPU of AI-processing power and leading performance per watt will push its performance, efficiency, and speed to new heights.
Earlier in May, Microsoft introduced a new category of devices Copilot+PC. Those PCs were fast, efficient, and most intelligent PCs ever built with AI experiences at the centre of this evolution.
