TCS will facilitate automation using intelligent automation and DevOps technologies, assisting Primark in implementing a more product-based and agile operating strategy. Leading worldwide clothes retailer Primark in Europe and the US has announced an extension of its collaboration with Indian IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). To support Primark's ambitious aspirations for worldwide expansion, TCS will assist in transforming the retailer's technological operations over the next five years.
Primark and TCS have collaborated since 2016. It has been working with the clothing store to stabilize key platforms and advance business-critical integration initiatives. TCS has also strengthened cybersecurity capabilities, which has increased system and process stability and dependability.
"We're expanding our partnership with TCS to build a robust, resilient, and reliable IT operating environment to become a more efficient, technology-led global organization with the agility to quickly adapt to changing demands and requirements in a fast-paced industry," stated Andrew Brothers, Primark's chief information officer, in a statement. We will have the continuous operational responsibility and stability required to support the growth of our business by working with TCS.
