Over 1000 Startups, Investors and Incubators Converge at Startup Mahakumbh for Unprecedented Exchange of Ideas

Bharat Mandapam is set to host the historic "Startup Mahakumbh" In an extraordinary event of the Indian startup ecosystem, over 1000 entrepreneurs, investors, and incubators will meet at Bharat Mandapam between March 18 and 20 to celebrate the storied "Startup Mahakumbh," hosted by DPIIT and scheduled to last for three days starting March 18. The organizers anticipate that it will be an important moment in the development of entrepreneurship in India.

Top government officials, including Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, will gather on February 27th to discuss the importance of the "Startup Mahakumbh'. This event is expected to stimulate discussions on important sectors and help strengthen the startup ecosystem in India.

StartUp Mahakumbh offers an engaging mix of activities that improve the quality of your experience. From mentoring sessions to masterclasses to keynote speeches, Unicorn roundtables, and keynote addresses to keynote speeches and Unicorn roundtables - its diverse strategy encourages innovation and strengthens the growing startup ecosystem in India.

Government Measures Drive Startup Growth

The commitment of the government to startups has been made clear through initiatives such as that of the Startup India Action Plan, unveiled in 2016. Since 2016, a variety of schemes, including the seed funds scheme, fund of Fund schemes, and credit guarantee schemes have played an important role in encouraging the growth of startups, ranging from 400 startups registered in 2016 to over 1.17 lakh in 2017.

Major Organizations Come Together for the Hosting the Startup Mahakumbh Leading organizations such as ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation, TiE, and Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA) have joined forces to host an event called the "Startup Mahakumbh." With DPIIT of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry as their sponsor and Pragati Maidan as its venue scheduled for March 18-20 as the host location; organizers are anticipating that it will be the biggest in terms of size as well as impact!

This Startup Mahakumbh is intended as an extravagant event that will highlight India's entrepreneurial spirit as well as technology and innovation on a global stage. By gathering startups, unicorns/soonicorns/investors/industry stakeholders/ecosystem players - including startup accelerators/accelerators etc - this event hopes to foster collaborations and establish an eco-system of startups through joint efforts.

For the team at Startup Mahakumbh, meaningful connections are more important than numbers. The event will be home to more than 1000 startups over 10 thematic tracks during Startup Mahakumbh to engage with angels, VCs, Family offices, HNIs as well as other funders. Startups will have access to a broad group of investors to help facilitate collaboration between potential corporate partners as well as flourishing ecosystems.

Curtain Raiser of Startup Mahakumbh Set for February 27

To mark the start of their massive event that will be taking place in the capital city of Delhi, the Organizing Committee for "Startup Mahakumbh" will be hosting an event to raise the curtain on February 27, at Vanijya Bhawan in New Delhi. Participants at this special event include the Honorable the Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution & Textiles Shri Piyush Goyal and other highly regarded government partners and members of the startup community.

Key Figures in Startup Ecosystem to Attend Curtain Raiser

The most prominent figures from the startup ecosystem of India include Prashanth Prakash Executive Council Member of IVCA; Sanjeev Bikhchandani co-founder of Info Edge and Executive Vice Chairman of Info Edge Archana Jahagirdar- Managing Director and Founding Member Rukam Capital Nivruti Rai, MD and Chief Executive Officer Invest India and Sanjay NayarSenior Vice President of ASSOCHAM/Founder/Chief Sorin Investments are among others who will be attending this crucial event to help shape India's future startup landscape. Their presence highlights the importance of Startup Mahakumbh in shaping India's the future of India's startup ecosystem.
