Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the two-day 100 Cube Start-up Conclave at IIT Bhubaneswar's Research and Entrepreneurship Park (REP)

In his address, Pradhan emphasized providing an enabling ecosystem for talented youth with a whole-of-society approach. He stated that initiatives like 100 Cube Odisha will tap into the untapped potential of youth to engineer innovation and start-up revolutions. Pradhan noted that the world looks to India's youth with hope and it's crucial to support them.



The Minister highlighted that innovation is inherent in Odia society. He invited all to leave a legacy of enterprise that will inspire globally. MoUs were signed between 16 startups and REP, and some startups received grants from corporates.

Key focus areas at REP include health, battery tech, AI, space tech and more. Five sessions were held on nurturing ideas, industry-startup partnerships, institutionalizing innovation ecosystems in academia, and more.

Earlier, Pradhan participated in a fireside chat where he mentioned Odisha and Eastern India's wealth of talent and ideas. He envisioned Bhubaneswar becoming an epicenter of solution-centric startups that give momentum to Purvoday and boost India's growth.

The Conclave encouraged youth to innovate, dream big, and create value. Pradhan urged for handholding youngsters and called upon corporates and investors to support the initiative. The event marked the foundation for catalyzing enterprise in Eastern India.
