In this Episode we are speaking with our Rising Legend from Ahmedabad Chintan Sheth who is from the management of M/s Maganlal Manilal Sheth. M/s Maganlal Manilal Sheth involved in the business of timbers and plywood since 1875.

Till the 1980s they were sole distributors of timber, to a British-owned firm – Sitapur Plywood Manufacturers Ltd. in Uttar Pradesh which manufactured flush doors which was a new concept at that time. They were also manufacturing and supplying wooden boxes to textile mills in Ahmedabad at that time. But at this time when Textile Mills was shuttering down, and Sitapur Plywood shut down at that time M/s Maganlal Manilal Sheth changed their strategy. They entered the engineering and machinery area and searched for opportunities in wooden packaging for Logistics and exports.

Chintan Sheth after doing his post-graduation and MBA, joined the family business in late 1990. With the hope and support of his father and grandfather, to carry forward the legacy of 125 years and achieve new heights.
